For the last several years we have seen a resurgence in the popularity of designer denim jeans.  These jeans are extremely comfortable to wear and can be worn in a wide variety of occasions. They are perfect for a casual afternoon stroll around the neighborhood, and fit in equally as well for an elegant evening on the town. Take one look at the magazine racks at the super market and you see many of the  Hollywood stars wearing designer jeans.    

As nice as they look, these jeans can be pricey, but well worth it if you find just the right fit.  The saying that says you get what you pay for is quite appropriate when we talk about designer denim jeans.  Lesser brands that are more price focused can work for you, but they usually will not fit as well as the more expensive designer jeans.  It is worth it to pay a little bit more for you jeans since you plan on wearing them often. 

One thing to thing about is that you one pair is the more expensive designer jeans may cost about the same as two pairs of the more economy brands.  If you think about it this way you can justify buying that pair of expensive designer jeans you have always wanted.  These jeans will last twice as long as the cheaper ones, and you will probably be able to wear them at twice as many outings.  If you look at it this way, a pair of one hundred dollars jeans can be justified fairly quickly. 

Before you buy your jeans you want to make absolutely certain that you get them sized properly.  First off, you don’t want them so tight that it looks like they were spray painted on.  You will be absolutely miserable in jeans this snug, so think twice about that in the fitting room.  Secondly you don’t want them too baggy or frumpy looking.  You are getting a designer look and if they fit too loosely you won’t get the most out of your jeans.  You really need to take the extra time at the store to make certain the jeans fit properly. 

Before you leave home on your shopping adventure, you want to make sure you have your correct measurements.  Knowing this in advance will help you find your perfect fitting jeans much more quickly.  Every person has their own unique shape, and no two people will have exactly the same measurements.  If need be it is worth it to take a visit to a tailor to get a professional fitting for your measurements.  You will want to know the waste size, inseam length, and outer seam length when getting this done. 

There are numerous brands and models to choose from when shopping for designer denim jeans.  You really want to try on as many different types of jeans that you can to find just the right one for you.  In addition, since these jeans are hand made no two pair will fit exactly the same way even though they are marked with identical sizes.  So what you need to do is once you find a brand and model that you like take several pair of the same size in the fitting room and see which one fits best.
